I am out of words to describe how tranquil and so relaxing to come to this place considering that it is less than what you pay for two regular cups of coffee. Anthony and I actually postponed going here last week due to laziness (LOL) but, glad we went, we just packed our cameras and off we went.
And why is it that unplanned moments are always the best? And what is it about me that when I see cherry blossoms, my heart always skips that suddenly it’s filled with much happiness and contentment

She is bay area’s The Stunning Post and she rocked this session!! Lucky enough to shoot in the beautiful luxurious and innovative living, Lavare Townhomes located in Santa Row. 4 stories high with a rooftop! How lucky can you get? Also with with the collaborative effort of Tiffany & Co. we shot the 1837 Rubedo Collection and Tiffany’s Genevive Satchel handbag in the rare tangerine color, a must of every fashionista Despite the rain that day, we managed to get a little outside shoot. Thank you Ms. R and see you again in May.

When I am not busy with photography, I often find my self out wandering into places that I have never been. Last Saturday’s destination was Filoli Gardens + Mansion, south of SanFran. I was a little bit disappointed that the flowers are not in full bloom, at least not yet, but,the mansion was just fab! So much history! I love where Mr. Bourne got the name of Filoli combining the first two letters from the key words of his credo: “Fight for a just cause; Love your fellow man; Live a good life.”

Dark past (a b&w iPhoneography)

Ever since the Alcatraz tv series aired on Fox every Monday, I was hooked! We had to plan a Saturday to visit “The Rock”. It’s funny how I said that, because I am from the bay area but I never really bother to see the inside of Alcatraz, when gazillion of tourist flock San Francisco to see this major attraction while I only admire from afar, but, not for long.

So exactly how many prisoners have died in Alcatraz? Well according to the officials, eight inmates were murdered by other inmates, five committed suicide and fifteen died of natural causes.I also read that Alcatraz had no death row or any facility for executions.

I was so glad that I spent a few hours to finally see it, to orient me back of that piece of history. So the next time you are in San Francisco, take a 15 minute boat ride and visit the rock that housed America’s most dangerous criminals. You will get a kick of it ;)
